WHERE DID IT ALL START?
Like a lot of the best ideas, the idea for the The Future of Marketing came when Peter Craven was enjoying a Christmas catch up (and possibly a drink or two) with an old work colleague, Paul James in 2017.
Both being keen learners, the conversation switched to the kind of marketing event and community that they would like to see developing.
This was the conception of the idea for the first event in The Future of Marketing series, which took place in Belfast in May 2018.
In the years that followed a further 5 events were completed as well as the beginnings of online content resources for the marketing community.

Peter Craven founded BlueSky Video Marketing in June 2017 having spent 20 years working in global marketing roles.
He also held the role of Education ambassador on the board of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in Ireland for 3 years and works as a volunteer with Young Enterprise Northern Ireland.
Peter is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (which just means he’s being doing the job for a really long time – but don’t tell him I said that).
